Our Promise

UNILI exists to remove stress — and that includes how we treat your data. We collect only what we need, we protect it, and we never sell it. This policy explains exactly what happens with your information, in plain language.

What We Collect

When you contact UNILI (via WhatsApp, booking forms, or direct message), we may receive:

• Your name — so we know who we're talking to
• Phone number (WhatsApp) — to communicate with you
• Email address — if you choose to provide it
• University / Campus — to serve you better locally
• Details about your tech issue or request — so we can actually help

That's it. We don't collect browsing history, location data, or anything you haven't explicitly shared with us.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information for one reason only: to provide the service you asked for.

• To respond to your inquiry
• To schedule and deliver tech support, design work, or other UNILI services
• To send occasional updates about UNILI (only if you opt in — and you can opt out anytime)
• To improve our service based on common requests

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or anything creepy.

Sharing & Third Parties

UNILI does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period.

The only exceptions:

• Service providers — We use trusted tools (like WhatsApp for communication, Google Drive for file sharing). These platforms have their own privacy policies, but we only use them to serve you.
• Legal requirements — If required by Nigerian law or a valid court order, we may disclose information. We'll let you know if this happens, unless prohibited.

Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to complete your service and maintain a record of our interaction (in case you come back). If you'd like us to delete your data, just ask — we'll do it within 7 days, no questions asked.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information — secure devices, limited access, and common sense. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We do our best; you should too (use strong passwords, don't share sensitive info publicly).

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of any non-essential communication

Cookies & Tracking

Our website may use minimal, functional cookies to remember your preferences (like dark/light mode). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. No third-party ad networks, no retargeting pixels.

Children's Privacy

UNILI services are intended for university students (typically 16+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and note the date below. Major changes will be announced via our WhatsApp channel or email (if you're subscribed).
